Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Project Manager I to join our Power Delivery Solutions group. The role supports substation and transmission engineering projects across the Northern United States, coordinating with lead engineers and account managers.

The position offers hybrid work with in-office collaboration in Walled Lake, MI, Pittsburgh, PA, or Chicago, IL, depending on candidate location. The PM I will manage budgets, schedules, and project scope, ensuring quality control and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or a closely related discipline is required.
• A minimum of three (3) years of Project Management experience.
• Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, P6).
• Demonstrated experience managing and reporting project financial performance, budgets, proposals, scopes and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead project teams to complete engineering designs for electric infrastructure projects.
• Accept responsibility for overall project performance and reporting.
• Manage project costs, schedule and scope within approved limits, including recovery plans.
• Interface with clients and internal management to report progress, costs and risks.
