Job summary

Catapult Federal Services seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead power delivery projects nationwide, overseeing substations, transmission lines, switchyards, and related infrastructure.

You will direct field operations, manage subcontractors, and coordinate project teams to deliver safe, on-schedule, and on-budget outcomes. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Experience managing utility, substation, transmission, or power delivery construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety, scheduling, quality control, and project execution.
• Proven ability to lead field teams and coordinate subcontractors across multiple projects.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction activities for multiple power delivery projects nationwide.
• Develop construction execution plans, schedules, and staffing strategies.
• Oversee field operations, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure safe and efficient execution.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, productivity, and resource utilization.
• Conduct regular site visits to support field teams and resolve project challenges.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, customer, and company safety standards.
• Promote a culture centered on safety, quality, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, project stakeholders, and field personnel.
• Support project planning, estimating, constructability reviews, and project forecasting.
• Mentor and develop superintendents, foremen, and other field leaders.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards through inspections, testing, commissioning, and closeout.
