Job summary

Foundation Personnel Inc. seeks an experienced Construction Manager with a background in US Power T&D construction to lead field execution and delivery across transmission, distribution and substation projects.

You will oversee day-to-day activities, manage crews and subcontractors, coordinate with project stakeholders, and ensure safety, schedule and quality standards are met on multiple sites. Strong leadership and technical knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management experience within US Power Transmission, Distribution and/or Substation construction.
• Strong field leadership and crew management experience.
• Experience working with utilities and/or Power T&D contractors.
• Strong understanding of electrical and utility construction practices.
• Experience managing subcontractors, schedules, manpower and resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction activities from mobilization through completion
• Manage field crews, subcontractors and site resources
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, engineers, utilities and clients
• Manage manpower, materials, equipment and construction schedules
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to required quality standards
• Monitor productivity, costs, progress and site performance
• Review drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Coordinate site logistics, work plans and construction sequencing
• Identify and resolve field issues and project risks
• Support commissioning, closeout and client handover
