Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in power system controls, substation automation, or SCADA.
• Experience with substation or transmission projects and power system comms.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems, protective relaying, and utility ops.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design SCADA, substation automation, and power system comms architectures.
• Develop control and monitoring schemes for substations, transmission, and ops centers.
• Support integration of IEDs, RTUs, PLCs, and protective relays.
• Assist with commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting controls.
• Coordinate with utilities and IT/OT stakeholders on interfaces and data exchange.
• Review drawings to ensure proper integration of controls and protection.
