Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
- 5–10 years in power system controls, substation automation, or SCADA.
- Experience with substation/transmission projects and power-system communications.
Responsibilities
- Design and support SCADA, substation automation, and power system communication architectures.
- Develop control and monitoring schemes coordinating substations, transmission systems, and operations centers.
- Assist with commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting control and communication systems.
- Coordinate with utilities and IT/OT stakeholders on data exchange and interfaces.
- Review drawings and specs to ensure proper integration of controls and protections.
