Job summary

Russelectric, a Siemens business, is seeking Field Service Engineers to support critical power facilities in the Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati Ohio area. You will be hands‑on with automatic transfer switches, startups, warranty work, and preventive maintenance contracts, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in field service engineering, experience with low/medium voltage switchgear, ATS testing, and strong customer service and project management

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3+ years in Field Service Engineering
• Experience with low to medium voltage switchgear
• Experience testing automatic transfer switches
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints for power control
• Knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards
• Strong customer service and project management skills
• Valid driver's license and US work authorization without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• On‑call 24/7 with cell phone
• Focus on automatic transfer switches maintenance and startups
• Provide technical support for field startups, warranty work, and remedial repairs
• Supervise safety compliance with policies and laws
• Communicate with clients and negotiate extra charges when needed
• All decisions comply with regulatory requirements
• Travel up to 80%
