Job summary

Russelectric, a Siemens business, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support critical power facilities in Ohio (Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati). The role involves automatic transfer switch startups, warranties, emergency calls, and a commitment to learn and advance.

You’ll need a High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years in field service engineering with power distribution and switchgear knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, with 3+ years in field service engineering.
• Experience with electrical power and switchgear in critical facilities.
• Skills in reading schematics/blueprints and regulatory standards.
• Strong customer service, budgeting and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Startup, testing and commissioning of automatic transfer switches.
• Provide warranty support, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with customers and manage on-site projects within budget.
• Maintain safety compliance and on-site documentation.
• Travel up to 80% and respond to emergencies and calls.
