Job summary

Russelectric, a Siemens business, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support critical power facilities in Ohio (Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati). The role involves startup, maintenance, warranty, and emergency call support for automatic transfer switches.

You will travel up to 80% to customer sites, read schematics, diagnose issues, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while delivering strong customer service. A background in electrical power systems and field service is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in field service engineering for power facilities.
• Experience with automatic transfer switches and power distribution systems.
• Proficient in reading schematics and hardware blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Startup, modification, warranty and emergency call support for ATS equipment.
• Provide technical support for field startups and preventative maintenance contracts.
• Ensure safety compliance with policies, procedures, and laws.
• Communicate with clients to manage scope and, if needed, negotiate extra charges.
• Travel up to 80% to customer sites and coordinate with internal teams.
