Job summary

Russelectric, a Siemens business, is seeking Field Service Engineers to support critical power facilities in Ohio, including Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati areas. You will lead CTU startups, perform warranty work, and manage preventive maintenance for automatic transfer switches while maintaining safety and customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have 3+ years in field service with electrical power experience, strong schematics reading, and a willingness to travel up to 80% to customer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in field service engineering with electrical power experience.
• Experience with automatic transfer switches and testing.
• Reading and interpreting schematics/blueprints for power control systems.
• Familiarity with applicable codes and industry standards.
• Strong client communication and budget-conscious project delivery.
• Self-directed with a customer-first mindset.
• Valid driver's license; US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support automatic transfer switch startups, modifications, warranty work, and emergency calls.
• Provide field startup support for standard and non-standard systems and remedial repairs.
• Manage preventative maintenance contracts and service activities.
• Supervise safety policy compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with clients professionally and negotiate scope/extensions as needed.
• Travel up to 80% to customer sites across the Ohio region.
