Job summary

Russelectric, a Siemens business, is seeking Field Service Engineers to support critical power facilities in Ohio. Three positions will be based in the Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati area; candidates will be hands-on, service-oriented technicians for automatic transfer switch startups, warranty work, and on-site maintenance.

The roles require 3+ years of field service experience, on-call availability, and travel up to 80%.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• 3+ years Field Service Engineering experience
• Power distribution knowledge including low to medium voltage switchgear
• Experience with automatic transfer switch testing
• Reading schematics and blueprints for power control
• Familiar with codes and industry standards
• Strong client interaction and ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Strong project management skills
• Valid Driver's license
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• On-call 24/7 with a cell phone
• Focus on automatic transfer switches
• Provide field startup support, warranty efforts, and remedial maintenance
• Supervise safety policies and regulatory compliance
• Communicate with clients and negotiate charges for extra work
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory laws
• Travel up to 80%
