Job summary

Garver LLC in Round Rock, Texas is seeking a motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join the analytics team. You will build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, prepare and validate data from client and internal sources, and support client deliverables on real infrastructure projects.

Under the guidance of senior developers and the Business Analytics Manager, you will develop data models and measures, ensure design quality, and contribute to data quality and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of professional analytics or BI experience; internships/counts as experience.
• Working knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is required or preferred.
• Foundational SQL skills with joins, filters, and aggregations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify work.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards following team standards.
• Write and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract and validate data.
• Develop data models, measures, and calculated columns using DAX and Power Query.
• Ensure dashboards are clear, readable, and aligned with Garver standards.
• Maintain existing reports with refreshes, issues, and enhancements.
• Gather requirements and prepare materials for client presentations and reports.
