Job summary

You will prepare and validate data from diverse source systems, perform quality checks, and support client deliverables while collaborating with senior developers and the Business Analytics Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of professional analytics or BI experience; internships count.
• Working knowledge of Power BI or Tableau.
• Foundational SQL skills with joins, filters, and aggregations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and large data sets.
• Strong attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to take direction, manage deadlines, and collaborate in a project team.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and subject matter.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards under senior guidance, following team standards for data modeling and design.
• Write and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract, join, and validate data from client and internal sources.
• Develop data models, measures, and calculated columns using DAX and Power Query.
• Apply design principles for layout, color, and readability to ensure dashboards are clear and Garver-branded.
• Support maintenance of existing reports, including scheduled refreshes and enhancements.
• Gather, clean, transform, and validate data from multiple sources including ERP, GIS, and databases.
• Document data sources, transformation logic, and known limitations.
• Communicate status, progress, and any blockers in client engagements.
