Garver Engineering, Round Rock, TX, is seeking a motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join our analytics team. You will build Power BI reports, validate data from diverse source systems, and support client deliverables on infrastructure projects.

You will work under senior developers and the Business Analytics Manager, with a focus on data preparation, quality checks, and effective data storytelling. This role offers growth in BI skills and exposure to GIS data and civil engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, CS, Business, Eng, Math, Stats, or related field.
• 1-3 years of analytics or BI experience; internships count.
• Power BI or Tableau experience.
• Foundational SQL skills (joins, filters, aggregations).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Write and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract and validate data.
• Develop data models, measures, and calculated columns using DAX/Power Query.
• Apply design principles for readable dashboards aligned with Garver standards.
• Maintain existing reports including refreshes and issue resolution.
• Prepare data from multiple sources and validate data quality.
