Job summary

Garver is seeking a motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join the analytics team in Austin, TX. You will build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, validate data from multiple sources, and support client deliverables. Strong fundamentals, attention to detail, and curiosity are valued.

You will work under senior developers and the Business Analytics Manager to deliver analytics on infrastructure projects across transportation and buildings sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 1–3 years of analytics/BI experience.
• Power BI (or Tableau) experience preferred.
• Foundational SQL skills to write and modify queries.
• Proficiency with Excel and large data sets.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Clear written and verbal communication; team collaboration.
• Curiosity to learn new tools and methods.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards per team standards.
• Write and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract and validate data.
• Develop data models, measures, and calculated columns with DAX/Power Query.
• Ensure dashboards are clear, readable, and well designed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
