Essent Group Ltd. in Radnor, PA seeks a Power BI & Data Analytics Lead to design, build, and steward enterprise analytics solutions across Power BI, semantic modeling, and upstream data prep.

This senior individual contributor will partner with Operations, IT and Data Management to translate business needs into scalable, trusted reporting. The role drives analytics modernization, migrates from legacy tools, and ensures standardized data models and governed self‑service reporting for executives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–8 years’ direct Power BI / enterprise analytics experience.
• 3–5 years’ lead/senior‑IC level influencing architecture and standards.
• Proven ability to deliver enterprise analytics solutions for executives, operations and regulated processes.
• Strong Power BI architecture expertise: semantic models, datasets, reports, storage options, workspace design.

Responsibilities

• Design and steward enterprise Power BI semantic models centralizing logic, KPIs, and single source of truth.
• Define standards for metrics, calculations, and report reconciliation across reports.
• Collaborate with Data Management and IT on data sourcing, transformation, and schema design including SQL prep and star schemas.
• Lead end‑to‑end design, development, and support of Power BI analytics solutions used across multiple domains.
• Mentor analysts and developers in Power BI best practices and governance.
