Essent Group Ltd. in Radnor, PA, seeks a Power BI & Data Analytics Lead for Operational Reporting to design, build, and steward enterprise analytics assets.

The role spans the full analytics stack from upstream data preparation to executive dashboards, partnering with Operations, IT, and Data Management to translate business needs into scalable, trustworthy reporting. This senior individual contributor will guide architectural decisions, enable standardized data models, and drive analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5-8 years’ direct Power BI / enterprise analytics experience.
• 3-5 years’ lead / senior‑individual‑contributor level influencing architecture and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to design, deliver, and steward enterprise analytics solutions for executive decision‑making.
• Strong expertise in Power BI architecture including semantic models, datasets, reports, apps, storage modes, and workspace design.

Responsibilities

• Design and steward enterprise Power BI semantic models centralizing business logic and KPIs.
• Define standards for metrics and calculations to ensure consistency across reports.
• Collaborate with Data Management and IT on data sourcing, transformations, and schema design.
• Lead end‑to‑end design, development, and support of Power BI analytics solutions across domains.
• Govern analytics workspaces, environment promotions, access controls, and documentation.
• Mentor analysts and developers in Power BI best practices and lifecycle management.
