Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Richmond, VA is seeking a Painter I for the Paint Department. You will apply powder coating with manual guns, ensure color readiness and maintain equipment readiness to minimize downtime.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficient interaction with paint line teammates. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and prior experience in manufacturing painting or powder coating, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing painting or powder coating experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Applies powder coating using manual guns following quality standards.
• Promotes a safe, organized work environment and communicates with team leads.
• Tests and adjusts equipment prior to parts arriving at the paint booth.
• Performs preventative maintenance on powder booth and washer system.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and inspects finished parts for defects.
