Job summary

Dover Corp is seeking a Painter I in Richmond, VA to coat parts in the Paint Department and ensure quality standards. The role involves touch-ups, equipment testing, and preventive maintenance while maintaining a safe, efficient line.

Strong communication with the paint team is essential. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and prior manufacturing painting/powder coating experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Hill Phoenix certification training preferred.
• Manufacturing painting or powder coating experience preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Applies powder paint coating using manual paint guns while complying with standards.
• Promotes a safe work environment.
• Test and adjust equipment before parts arrive at the paint booth.
• Perform preventive maintenance on powder booth, spray parts, washer system.
• Paint/refrigerated display case parts and adjust line speed.
• Inspect painted parts for defects and notify supervisor as needed.
