Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Richmond, VA is hiring a Painter I to apply powder paint coatings to refrigerated display case parts. You will test and adjust equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure a clean, safe work area while supporting a fast-paced production line.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Hill Phoenix certification, and prior powder coating experience. Expect physical work with lifting up to 50 lbs in a collaborative environment, reporting to the Paint Department.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Hill Phoenix certification training required.
• Experience in manufacturing painting or powder coating preferred.
• Able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Apply powder paint coating using manual paint guns while following safety and quality standards.
• Test and adjust equipment prior to parts entering the paint booth.
• Perform preventative maintenance on powder booth and washer system.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; assist with color changes.
• Interact with line leaders and teammates to ensure smooth operations.
• Meet production deadlines while ensuring quality parts.
