Job summary

Prestage Farms is seeking a Process Trainer in Debone to oversee, monitor, and facilitate training for new and current employees in the production area. The role reports to the process manager with a Tuesday–Friday day shift and flexibility for early/late shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.

The trainer will conduct onboarding, mentor staff, document training progress, and ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and USDA guidelines while maintaining high quality in a fast-paced poultry

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (Min.).
• Working knowledge/experience in food processing or related field (Poultry processing - Preferred)
• Experience with machine operation or as lead operator

Responsibilities

• Oversee training for new and current employees in the production area
• Guide and mentor staff to improve performance
• Conduct new hire orientation and on-the-job training
• Provide plant tours for candidates and new hires
• Teach work tasks and techniques to trainees
• Support operators and area leads as needed
• Maintain safety-first mindset and follow GMP/USDA guidelines
• Document training progress and cross-training status
