Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in North Carolina is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor to lead production line staff, ensure all procedures align with HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs and USDA/OSHA regulations, and achieve peak productivity while meeting customer specifications.

You will manage scheduling and staffing for up to 100 employees, mentor crews, monitor quality and safety, partner with Quality Assurance, and implement process improvements to reduce waste and downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in a manufacturing setting.
• Three years in food manufacturing or poultry preferred.
• Leadership experience in scheduling, policy adherence, and conflict resolution; three years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage production line by establishing procedures to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure accurate daily reporting of departmental metrics.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce deficiencies.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain USDA compliance and food safety.
• Mentor and train employees; administer performance actions fairly.
