Job summary

kochfoods is seeking a seasoned shift supervisor to oversee production operations at our Morristown plant. You will manage shift activities, coordinate maintenance oversight, and support supervisors in coaching and leading teams to meet production and yield targets.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills, plus extensive poultry-plant supervision experience. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, and attention to GMP and safety procedures is

• Bachelor's degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science or closely related field preferred.
• 7+ years supervisory and management experience within a poultry plant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adept with technology, computers, and math and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all shift operations, including maintenance oversight.
• Ensure shift staffing and assist supervisors in training, coaching, and leading their teams.
• Ensure the production and yield requirements are met.
• Ensure all GMP and safety procedures are enforced.
• Monitor and control budget spending, managing resources within the goals set forth.
• All other relevant tasks to the job.
