Qualifications

• Must be able to comprehend both oral and written instructions and to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Must have technical knowledge of, and hands-on experience working in the operation of advanced water treatment plant facilities on the assigned shift.
• Must be flexible and enjoy a diversity of responsibilities.
• Thorough knowledge of the operating characteristics and maintenance requirements of water treatment plants.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pumps, motors and chemical feeders.
• Conduct safety inspections and follow safety rules.
• Interpret P&ID, drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Perform routine preventative/corrective maintenance.
• Maintain shift logs and reports.
• Load and inventory chemicals and lab reagents.
