Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is hiring a Registered Nurse for Maternity Services in the Greater Manchester Region. You will provide direct and indirect patient-centered care, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and coordinate care across postpartum, newborn, and Level II units.

Requirements include CT RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications (within 12 months of hire). This role supports growth, education, and patient safety in a dynamic hospital setting with a commitment to high-quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current licensure in the state of Connecticut.
• Must have certification in BLS, ACLS, and NRP upon hire or within a year after hire date.

Responsibilities

• Perform population-specific maternal and newborn assessments and care planning.
• Educate patients and families on pain management and care plans.
• Develop and revise individualized plans of care with family involvement.
• Administer medications safely following the five rights and monitor effects.
• Document nursing process and patient responses promptly and accurately.
• Promote autonomous practice and professional growth for staff support.
