Job summary

Hartford Hospital, part of Hartford HealthCare, is seeking a registered nurse for a 36-hour permanent night shift.

You will provide holistic, quality nursing care for patients and families, applying the nursing process and collaborating with the care team to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

CT RN license required; ASN is required, BSN preferred; BLS certification required; maternity/postoperative care experience is desirable; one year of nursing experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• ASN required, BSN preferred.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required before date of hire.
• Maternal/Newborn experience preferred.
• One year nursing experience required; previous maternity experience preferred.
• Experience in Women's Health or postoperative care desired.

Applies the nursing process within the context of the organization's Framework for Professional Practice. Functions as clinically competent. Delegates and supervises work appropriately. Reports to Unit Manager.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school ASN Required, BSN preferred.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire.
• Maternal/Newborn experience preferred.
• One year nursing experience required; previous maternity experience preferred.
• Experience in Women's Health or postoperative care desired.
