Job summary
Hartford HealthCare in New Britain, CT seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Family Birthing Center. The RN Acute role delivers comprehensive maternal and newborn care, develops care plans, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
You will apply evidence-based practices, support educators and families, and participate in residency and wellness programs. This PRN evening shift position offers tuition assistance, loan forgiveness, and a comprehensive benefits
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Associate’s degree in Nursing required.
- One year of experience with a minimum of 1000 hours of clinical experience as a licensed registered nurse.
- Registered Nurse, State of CT.
- Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Responsibilities
- Develop a plan of care for complex, multi-varianced populations of patients.
- Utilize evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
- Address the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families.
