The lab focuses on structural enzymology of proteins involved in bacterial natural product biosynthesis.

The successful candidate will engage in protein production, purification, and biochemical assay development, genome mining, and protein structure determination via X-ray

Responsabilités

• protein production, purification, and analysis, including development and implementation of biochemical assays
• informatic and genome mining to identify, characterize, and understand the diverse biosynthetic pathways of bacterial sources
• protein structure determination through X-ray crystallography and/or cryo-electron microscopy and single particle analysis
• Data analysis, maintenance, and interpretation, including contributions on authoring publications and dissemination of research
