University at Buffalo, in the Gulick Lab within the Department of Structural Biology, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in NIH-funded research. The lab focuses on structural enzymology of proteins involved in bacterial natural product biosynthesis.
The successful candidate will engage in protein production, purification, and biochemical assay development, genome mining, and protein structure determination via X-ray
A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available for an NIH-funded position in the lab of Prof. Andrew Gulick within the Department of Structural Biology, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo.
The Gulick Lab investigates the structural enzymology of proteins involved in the biosynthesis of bacterial natural products. Through combinations of structural biology, biochemical characterization, protein engineering, and biocatalysis, we aim to explore the ability of bacteria to produce diverse small molecules that are produced to help them adapt to the challenges of surviving in diverse environments.
The Research Foundation of SUNY is an EOE and welcomes all to apply including veterans and individuals with a disability.
