University of Michigan Health-West is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post-Surgical Unit on the Day shift. The role is 0.6 FTE with weekend work and a new hire incentive.

Requirements include Michigan RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and ACLS/PALS considerations depending on unit specialization. The nurse will assess patients, plan and implement care, and educate patients and families while coordinating with the health care team.

Formación

• RN licensure in Michigan is required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• ACLS preferred and ACLS within 60 days for some units; PALS preferred for certain areas.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient condition and discharge needs.
• Develop and update plans of care.
• Implement nursing plans and physician orders.
• Document patient care accurately.
• Educate patients and families.
