Celero Communications, Inc. is seeking a Post-Silicon Validation Engineer at our Irvine, CA or Ottawa, Canada headquarters. You will join a fast-paced team to bring up and validate next-generation coherent DSP ASICs powering AI and hyperscale optical networking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on post-silicon validation or silicon bring-up experience with complex ASICs/SoCs.
• Understanding of silicon debug methodologies and root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge of high-speed protocols (PCIe, Ethernet, SerDes, CXL, USB, I2C, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Post-silicon validation and characterization from first silicon through production release.
• Functional, performance, interoperability, and reliability testing across interfaces.
• Enable first silicon bring-up using JTAG, scan, and board-level diagnostics.
• Validate high-speed interfaces like PCIe, Ethernet, SerDes and other protocols.
• Utilize lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, BERTs, protocol analyzers, and power measurement tools.
• Debug hardware, firmware, RTL, and system-level issues with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to Python-based automation for test execution, regression, and data analysis.
• Validate firmware, bootloaders, drivers, and hardware/software interfaces.
• Document validation results and production readiness reports.
