Job summary

Etched is seeking a Post Silicon Validation Engineer to bring up, validate, and characterize ASICs from first silicon through production ramp. You will ensure functional correctness, performance, and reliability of AI/ML accelerator hardware for deployment of cutting-edge products.

The role requires 7+ years in post-silicon validation, strong debugging across RTL/firmware, and collaboration with hardware and software teams. This is an in-person San Jose role with relocation and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in post-silicon validation, bring-up, and debug of ASICs.
• Experience with AI/ML accelerators and early silicon bring-up.
• Bachelor's in EE/CE; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive early bring-up of first silicon, including boot and debug.
• Perform deep-dive silicon debugging across RTL, firmware, and system levels.
• Validate and characterize IP blocks and accelerator components.
• Develop post-silicon validation infrastructure and test suites.
• Collaborate with RTL, DFT, firmware and system teams to resolve issues.
