University of Southern California is seeking a Post-Production Support Specialist to maintain post-production technology in the School of Cinematic Arts facilities. You will support end-users on Mac and Windows systems and manage Avid, NEXIS, and color workflow in instructional spaces.

USC's School of Cinematic Arts is seeking a Post-Production Support Specialist to help maintain post-production technology in the school's facilities. The School of Cinematic Arts is the premier school for the study of cinematic arts and works on the cutting edge of technology in all aspects of media production.
The Post-Production Support Specialist is a member of the Digital Media & Technology group responsible for end-user support and maintenance of computers, software, and audio-visual equipment used in the school's instructional spaces.
The ideal candidate will be an expert in post-production hardware and software including Avid Media Composer, NEXIS, Pro Tools, and DaVinci Resolve. They will have hands-on experience supporting end-users. The candidate should possess excellent technical troubleshooting and customer service skills and be adept at supporting both Mac and Windows computers. The role requires a strong working knowledge of post-production workflow.
The hourly rate range for this position is $38.93 - $43.34.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum Experience: 2 years Minimum Field of Expertise: Knowledge of computing environments. Experience with networks, workstations, wireless communication, security software and procedures. Working knowledge of associated hardware, software, operating systems, and peripherals.
