Job summary

Georgia United Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Servicing Associate to manage title processing and lien perfection, oversee post-funding servicing actions, and coordinate with local and out-of-state DMV offices.

You'll handle Jira-tickets, file maintenance, and claims processing while delivering member-focused service. The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years in loan servicing or similar financial services role, focusing on post-funding processing and issue resolution.
• Familiarity with Jira for managing loan servicing requests and tracking issues.
• Familiarity with loan servicing systems, title processing, and collateral management.
• Experience processing GAP, debt protection, warranty, and insurance claims preferred.
• Familiarity with E-Oscar for credit reporting and dispute resolution is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and imaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Title processing & lien perfection, including lien releases and vehicle loan payoffs; submit titles to dealerships and DMV offices.
• Review, prioritize, and resolve loan servicing requests via Jira tickets with proper documentation.
• Process post-funding loan servicing actions and file maintenance.
• Maintain and update loan files, verify member information and record accuracy.
• Audit daily reports to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations.
• Handle insurance, GAP, debt protection, and warranty claims and updates.
• Serve as main contact for members; address inquiries and loan servicing concerns.
• Assist quality assurance and collaborate with Doc Prep and Member Services to streamline processes.
• Investigate credit disputes and coordinate with CRA and E-Oscar when needed.
• Participate in system testing and vendor training to improve loan servicing processes.
• Promote positive interdepartmental collaboration and uphold organizational values.
