Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding its construction crews with employee owners. The company leads in post-frame construction with 120 years in business and nationwide presence.

Salaries range from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, with a $2000 first-year bonus and an additional $500 quarterly retention bonus in the first year. Under guidance of the crew foreman, duties include following safety procedures, reading construction plans, and performing tasks from digging footings to framing, siding, and

Qualifications

• Experience in post-frame construction, carpentry or framing is preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred; Class A CDL is highly desired.
• Available to work 9–10 hours during peak construction season.
• Capable of working in a physically demanding environment, up to 40 ft heights.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Dig and install footings, frame walls and roof structures, install windows and doors, and apply siding/roofing materials.
• Work with crew to maintain a safe, productive, respectful work environment.
