Job summary

Morton Buildings Inc. is seeking construction crew members in the United States. The role offers an hourly wage between $25.00 and $27.00 based on experience, plus a $2,000 signing/first-year bonus and a $500 quarterly bonus during the first year.

Travel up to 20% is expected, including possible overnight trips. ESOP participation is included and multiple benefits are provided. Under the crew foreman, you will learn and apply safety procedures, read construction plans, operate tools, and build

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction, post-frame, carpentry or framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Available to work 9-10 hours during peak construction season.
• Ability to take direction and produce quality work.
• Must comply with safety processes and procedures.
• Able to operate construction tools safely and properly.
• Lifting 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work at heights up to 40 feet.
• Willingness to travel 20% including overnight trips up to two weeks.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures, methods, and standards.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to safely and efficiently construct buildings.
• Dig and install footings, frame walls and roof structures, install windows and doors, and apply siding and roofing materials.
• Work with crew to maintain a safe, organized, productive work environment.
