Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking construction crew members to join our employee-owners. Earn $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, paid weekly, with a $2,000 first-year bonus plus $500 every quarter during year one, and additional retention bonuses.

Under foreman guidance, you will read plans, operate tools, and perform footings, framing, siding, roofing, and trim work. Travel up to 10% and lift up to 100 pounds. Excellent benefits available, including ESOP and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• Post-frame construction or carpentry experience preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• Driver’s license preferred.
• Available to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Able to read, understand and build from construction plans.
• Commitment to safety and following procedures.
• Able to operate construction tools safely and effectively.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds and working at heights.
• 10% travel with possible overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to construct buildings.
• Execute tasks like footings, framing, siding, roofing, and trimming.
• Work with crew to maintain a safe, productive environment.
