Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding our construction crews and employee owners. We build post-frame structures across the country, with a long history and strong safety standards.

Pay is $22.00–$24.00 per hour, weekly. New crew members can earn a $2,000 first-year bonus plus $500 quarterly bonuses. Expect 9–10 hour days, travel up to 10%, and opportunities for growth within a thriving team.

Qualifications

• Building construction/post-frame experience preferred (on the job or in school).
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Available to work 9–10 hours during peak construction season.
• Ability to take direction, produce quality work, and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to operate construction tools safely and work at heights up to 40 feet.
• 10% travel with possible overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Learn, stay current with Morton Buildings’ safety and construction procedures, methods and standards.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to construct buildings safely and efficiently.
• Dig, set footings, frame walls and roofs, install windows and doors, and apply siding/roofing materials.
• Work with crew members in a safe, organized, productive environment.
