Job summary

Winfield Communities is seeking a Warranty Coordinator to manage post-construction warranty requests and ensure timely resolution. You will educate buyers on home systems, warranty coverage, and maintenance, serving as the primary contact after closing.

The role involves coordinating repairs, maintaining logs, generating reports, and supporting sales teams with post-closing communications and orientations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in homebuilding, construction, customer service, or warranty coordination.
• Knowledge of residential construction processes and materials.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand construction terminology.
• Proficiency in warranty management software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners regarding warranty related concerns.
• Educate homeowners on warranty coverage, maintenance responsibilities, and procedures.
• Process incoming homeowner warranty claims and evaluate coverage under warranty guidelines.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments between homeowners, field managers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain logs of all warranty claims, work orders, service letters, and resolutions.
• Generate reports on service performance and recurring defect trends.
• Coordinate final closing packages with title/escrow agents and distribute internally.
• Assist sales agents with administrative tasks and client communication.
• Schedule and conduct New Homeowner Orientations prior to or at closing.
• Educate homeowners on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, warranty coverage and procedures, and preventative maintenance.
• Provide walkthroughs of the home and address all questions.
• Ensure homeowners receive all necessary documentation and warranty information.
• Create a positive and professional first impression post-sale.
