Job summary

KB Home is seeking a Customer Service Warranty Representative to manage warranty claims across multiple active and closed communities. You will schedule subcontractors, evaluate their work, and ensure timely resolutions while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to handle diverse homeowners and schedules. Full-time field-based position with occasional overtime and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service experience in homebuilding or related real estate industry, or construction management training.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple communities and coordinate subcontractors.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate warranty claims by scheduling subcontractors, evaluating work, and resolving within 7 days.
• Address warranty concerns promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Review subcontractors' work and enforce deadlines.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction scores (CSI 96%+ at 30 days, 91%+ at 11 months).
• Process documentation using HB1 and standard company procedures.
• Conduct homeowner orientations and explain warranty terms.
• Schedule post-close visits at specified intervals (10d, 30d, 60d, 6m, 11m, 18m).
• Participate in weekly team meetings to review performance and metrics.
