Job summary

M/I Homes performs inspections and repairs for completed homes in accordance with product and Company warranties to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include scheduling and supervising subcontractors, managing work orders, and maintaining service vehicles. A high school diploma with 1–5 years in related work is preferred, with strong customer service and problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 1–5 years in related work and/or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of homebuilding industry and customer service processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and repairs for completed homes according to warranties and company policies.
• Completes work orders and coordinates with subcontractors to meet customer needs.
• Schedules and supervises subcontractors; communicates progress and status to customers.
• Directs and supervises subcontractors to improve efficiency and workflow.
• Maintains service vehicle inventories and equipment.
• Participates in departmental meetings to discuss service issues and improve performance.
• Assists on special projects as needed.
