Job summary

Sharp Brains is seeking customer-focused POS Terminal Support Technicians to support a large-scale retail technology deployment across multiple Florida locations.

Ideal candidates install, maintain, and troubleshoot POS systems with a background in field service, hardware support, or retail technology. Travel locally to customer sites is required and on-site support is provided at retail locations.

Qualifications

• Experience installing or supporting POS systems.
• Hands-on POS hardware troubleshooting.
• Field service or onsite technical support experience.
• Basic Ethernet, TCP/IP, and Wi‑Fi troubleshooting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel locally to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support POS terminals at retail locations.
• Troubleshoot POS hardware and connectivity issues.
• Perform basic hardware diagnostics, break/fix, and replacements.
• Support Ethernet, TCP/IP, and Wi‑Fi connectivity.
• Provide onsite technical assistance to customers.
• Travel locally between assigned customer locations.
• Ensure POS equipment is functioning properly and issues are resolved.
• Maintain professional communication with customers during service visits.
