Job summary

Shift4 Payments in Sacramento is seeking an outside sales account executive to help merchants grow using the latest Point of Sale technology. You will drive new logos, manage relationships, and upsell services while meeting aggressive quotas.

You will prospect by phone and in person, build referral partnerships, and maintain knowledge of Shift4 products in a fast-paced, global payments environment. This full-time role focuses on growth in the California market.

Qualifications

• Willingness to cold-call and set meetings with potential clients in-person.
• Willingness to close deals in a fast-paced sales cycle.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and hunter-like mentality.
• CRM experience.
• Background in door-to-door/outside sales.
• Ability to meet sales quotas.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Set appointments with merchants to present Point of Sale solutions.
• Prospect by phone, in person, and through networking to build partnerships.
• Assist existing clients with add-ons: Hardware, Software, and Professional Services.
• Build relationships by listening and resolving merchant needs.
• Explain Shift4 products via laptop or POS device.
• Identify and qualify opportunities for upselling and growth.
• Develop new accounts and expand market value.
• Maintain professionalism and follow company policies to grow market share.
• Sign new logos in assigned territory.
• Stay informed on current products and updates in the payments industry.
• Maintain regular communication with direct manager.
• Attend weekly pipeline and forecast meetings.
