Job summary

Shift4 is seeking an outside sales account executive in California to help merchants succeed with Point of Sale technology. You will be the heartbeat of Shift4’s sales force, driving new logos and expanding market share across the territory.

You will build relationships, qualify opportunities, and present Shift4 POS solutions to merchants, while maintaining professionalism and aligning with company policies. A fast-paced, target-driven environment awaits with strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• Willingness to cold-call and set meetings with potential clients in-person.
• Willingness to close deals in a fast pace sales cycle.
• Requires an entrepreneurial spirit and hunter-like mentality.
• CRM experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set appointments with merchants to present Point of Sale with Shift4 merchant servicing products.
• Prospect over the phone, face-to-face through networking, and building referral partnerships.
• Assist existing clients with additional add-on services including Hardware, Software, and Professional Services.
• Build relationships with merchants by listening to their needs and resolving outstanding issues.
• Explain the value of Shift4 products through your laptop or Point of Sale device.
• Listen, identify, and qualify sales opportunities to up-sell additional products and services.
• Develop new accounts and target areas for growth or market value.
• Exhibit professionalism and apply company policies to grow market share.
• Sign new logos in your assigned territory.
• Develop knowledge of current products and services and updates in payments industry.
• Maintain regular communication with your direct manager.
• Attend weekly meetings to review Pipeline and forecast opportunities.
