Job summary

Serco is seeking a Project Manager in the Middletown, RI area to lead Navy PORTS program initiatives, coordinating between the Program Manager, customer, and project team. Responsibilities span status reviews, data items, quality targets, and cross-functional meetings to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires DoD clearance eligibility, 5+ years of management experience with P&L, and familiarity with software development projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience including profit and loss
• Experience with software development projects
• Familiarity with DoD requirements and government contracting practices

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team
• Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects
