Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Team Manager, Portfolio Management for Enterprise Content & Training to lead scalable learning solutions that build AI literacy and workforce transformation for enterprise customers.

You will translate market signals into portfolio roadmaps, guide content strategy, and manage a team of portfolio and content professionals to drive measurable business outcomes.

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and external partners to accelerate execution and growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing teams in portfolio strategy, content development, curriculum strategy, or related fields.
• Strong experience translating customer needs, workforce capability gaps, and market opportunities into scalable learning solutions.
• Experience evaluating portfolio performance, customer outcomes, market opportunities, and investment priorities.
• 5+ years of people management experience across content, product, sales, marketing, technology, and delivery.
• Demonstrated success using data and revenue analysis to inform prioritization and investments.
• Ownership of portfolio performance, growth priorities, and high-quality content outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Genuine excitement for building new solutions to skill the world of work in AI.
• Preferred: experience with enterprise learning providers, leadership-development organizations, or B2B learning businesses.
• Preferred: experience designing enterprise learning programs for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage annual and quarterly portfolio roadmaps for AI literacy and workforce transformation programs.
• Translate customer challenges, workforce needs, market research, competitive insights into portfolio strategy and investments.
• Plan scalable enterprise learning programs and journeys combining digital learning, live training, assessments, credentials, and other experiences.
• Ensure the team delivers products and learning solutions to market on schedule while meeting quality standards and portfolio performance goals.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of portfolio and content professionals with clear priorities and OKRs.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, Technology, Operations, Delivery, and external partners to shape solutions and drive revenue growth.
• Lead research on workforce, leadership, and AI adoption trends to identify new portfolio opportunities.
