Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Team Manager, Portfolio Management for Enterprise Content & Training to lead scalable learning solutions that close workforce gaps in AI, leadership, and professional skills for enterprise clients.

You will own the portfolio strategy, guide a team of content professionals, and translate market signals into investments and content roadmaps to drive measurable business growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading teams in portfolio strategy, content development, curriculum strategy, learning products, enterprise learning, or related fields; experience in high-growth B2B learning environments preferred.
• Strong experience translating customer needs, workforce capability gaps, and market opportunities into scalable learning solutions, portfolio roadmaps, and content strategies.
• Experience evaluating portfolio performance, customer outcomes, market opportunities, and investment priorities to guide growth and portfolio decisions.
• 5+ years of people management experience, including managing mid-sized teams, developing talent, setting OKRs, and driving cross-functional execution across content, product, sales, marketing, technology, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage annual and quarterly portfolio roadmaps for AI literacy, AI-enabled work, leadership development, creative skills, professional skills, and workforce transformation programs for enterprise customers.
• Translate customer business challenges, workforce capability needs, market research, competitive insights, and revenue priorities into portfolio strategy, learning-program investments, and content roadmaps.
• Plan for scalable enterprise learning programs and learning journeys that combine digital learning, live training, assessments, credentials, and other learning experiences to achieve customer outcomes.
• Ensure the team delivers products and learning solutions to market on schedule while meeting quality standards and portfolio performance goals.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of portfolio and content professionals, establishing priorities, operating rhythms, performance expectations, and development plans.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, Technology, Operations, Delivery, and external partners to shape customer solutions, accelerate execution, and support revenue growth.
• Lead research and analysis on emerging workforce, leadership, professional-skills, and AI adoption trends, translating insights into new portfolio opportunities and market-focused solutions.
