Qualifications

• Knowledge of apartment property management normally acquired by four years of college OR comparable work experience.
• Minimum of three years’ experience overseeing multiple Community Manager’s/Teams, managing properties in affordable housing developments incl HUD/LIHTC/RHCP/CHRP/CHFA/AHP.
• Experience in generating property budgets and knowledge of local and federal housing laws including Fair Housing.

Responsibilities

• Establishes a communication system between onsite staff and Central Office to monitor property operations.
• Hires, trains, supervises, develops, and evaluates on-site staff; approves hires and terminations.
• Monitors property dashboards, reviews occupancy and rent schedules, and reports to leadership.
• Oversees budget preparation and expenditure approvals within guidelines.
