Job summary

Eden Housing is seeking a Community Manager II in California to oversee the day-to-day operations of an affordable housing property. You will supervise on-site staff, coordinate maintenance, and ensure occupancy targets while managing vendor relationships and regulatory compliance.

Strong leadership and budgeting skills are required to maintain a well-run community. Responsibilities include marketing, leasing, resident relations, financial reporting, and compliance with safety and housing

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in affordable housing management, including one year of staff management, maintenance and project management, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and janitorial staff, including any contract or temporary personnel.
• Market units by preparing advertising and marketing programs in compliance with federal, state, local, and regulatory requirements.
• Review rental applications and leases for accuracy and conformance to the Resident Selection Policy.
• Walk vacant apartments after maintenance to ensure they are clean and ready to show.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and management reports and maintain accurate resident lists.
