Job summary

Citizens Bank is expanding in South Florida and Tampa, seeking a Portfolio Manager who will perform full-cycle underwriting and portfolio management within a seasoned coverage team. You will analyze financial statements, tax returns and credit information, and present credit recommendations on commercial loan requests and modifications.

The role requires proactive credit risk administration, client interaction, and collaboration with relationship managers to manage diverse portfolio needs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in underwriting and portfolio management with C&I/CRE/Commercial banking.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for proactive credit and risk administration of assigned portfolio accounts.
• Responsible for structuring, underwriting, and documenting new business, renewals and modifications as the credit expert within the first line of defense.
• Provides client management support for assigned portfolio.
• Direct client interaction on standard credit and risk follow-up issues.
• Actively engages with relationship managers on progress, issues, and challenges regarding a particular customer relationship or portfolio concern.
• Handles multiple demands and competing priorities while meeting deadlines and schedules associated with maintaining portfolio and compliance with credit and risk policies.
• Manages moderately complex credits.
