Job summary

Citizens Financial in South Florida and Tampa is expanding and hiring Portfolio Managers to handle full cycle underwriting and portfolio management with a seasoned coverage team. You will analyze, underwrite, and present credit recommendations on commercial loan requests and modifications, reviewing financial statements and tax returns.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of underwriting and portfolio management experience in C&I/CRE/commercial banking.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients and internal partners.
• Credit analysis background with new loans and existing portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive credit and risk administration of assigned portfolio.
• Structure, underwrite, and document new business, renewals, and modifications.
• Provide client management support for the portfolio.
• Direct client interaction on credit and risk follow-up issues.
• Collaborate with relationship managers on portfolio progress and risks.
• Manage moderately complex credits while meeting deadlines.

Expansion in South Florida and Tampa is driving new openings for Portfolio Managers who enjoy working full cycle underwriting and portfolio management activities with a seasoned coverage team. While in this role, you will work in a team environment and analyze, underwrite, and present credit recommendations on Commercial loan requests and/or modifications. Furthermore, your analysis will include in-depth review of financial statements, tax returns and relevant credit information. Primary responsibilities include

• Responsible for proactive credit and risk administration of assigned portfolio accounts.
• Responsible for structuring, underwriting, and documenting new business, renewals and modifications as the credit expert within the first line of defense.
• Provides client management support for assigned portfolio.
• Direct client interaction on standard credit and risk follow-up issues.
• Actively engages with relationship managers on progress, issues, and challenges regarding a particular customer relationship or portfolio concern.
• Handles multiple demands and competing priorities while meeting deadlines and schedules associated with maintaining portfolio and compliance with credit and risk policies.
• Manages moderately complex credits.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

• Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in underwriting and portfolio management with C&I/CRE/Commercial banking
• Bachelors degree required
• Preferred Qualifications Strong communication skills and proven ability to work well with clients and internal partners
• Demonstrate credit analysis background working on new to new loans and existing portfolio.

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40+

Work Schedule: Mon - Fri, 4 days in office, 1 day remote
